These Terms explain the agreement for using Receive to prepare grant applications. Please read them before creating an account or making a purchase.
1. Who we are and how these Terms apply
Receive is the grant-application service provided by Receive. Where Receive is a trading name, the seller identified in your purchase confirmation or written service agreement is the contracting party. For questions, support, cancellation requests, or privacy requests, email tehila@receive.technology. You may request the operator's legal name and business contact address using this email before purchasing.
By selecting the agreement checkbox when creating an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. We record the documents accepted and the acceptance time. Signed-in product usage is measured as described in the Privacy Policy. This checkbox does not subscribe you to marketing.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and have authority to act for any organization whose information you provide. Keep account details accurate, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
You may sign in with an email and password or, when available, with Google. Google authentication is also subject to Google's terms. Do not share an account with unauthorized people.
3. What the service provides
Receive processes documents, organizes grant requirements, generates draft answers, and supports revisions and exports. Features and supported file formats may change. We may use external hosting, document-processing, and AI providers to provide these functions, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
AI-generated material may contain errors, incomplete information, or unsupported statements. Review every answer, calculation, citation, eligibility requirement, deadline, and exported file before using or submitting it. Receive does not guarantee funding, eligibility, acceptance, completeness, or compliance with a funder's requirements. You remain responsible for the final application and its submission. The service does not replace legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice.
4. Grant purchases and revisions
The base price is USD 99 per grant application. It includes document processing, the first draft, and three full-grant revision requests. Payment is collected before document processing begins. Creating the application and delivering its first draft are milestones for the same base purchase; they do not create two base charges.
An iteration is a requested revision across all questions in the grant. Each full-grant revision beyond the three included revisions costs USD 20. A revision limited to a single question or a partial selection of questions does not use a full-grant iteration. Manual edits and an update that reuses every unchanged answer do not use an iteration. A forced full-grant redraft does.
The allowance is used when a full-grant revision is requested. Retrying the same recorded run does not add a second iteration. A separate new request after cancellation or failure may use another iteration; contact us if you believe a service failure requires a credit or refund. Additional paid revision work starts after its payment is confirmed.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns and refunds, under its Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
These are one-time purchases, not a recurring subscription. You approve each payment through Paddle's checkout. The total and any applicable taxes must be disclosed before you pay. Your bank or provider may charge currency-conversion or other fees under its own terms. Any different written quote or checkout offer must be clearly disclosed before purchase.
5. Cancellation, refunds, and service problems
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms. Document processing begins as soon as a purchase is paid, so a purchase is not refundable once its work has started, except where the Refund Policy, Paddle's Buyer Terms, or mandatory law provide otherwise. Duplicate charges, charges for work that was not delivered, and service failures we cannot resolve are refunded.
Request a refund through paddle.net or by contacting tehila@receive.technology with enough information to identify your account and purchase. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived take priority over these Terms. Payment-provider dispute rights remain available.
6. Your documents and output
You retain your rights in the material you upload. You must have the permissions and lawful basis needed to provide it, including personal information about other people. Upload only material needed for the grant. Do not upload unlawfully obtained information or material you are not permitted to disclose to our service providers.
You give Receive a limited permission to host, process, transmit to service providers, copy, and transform your material as necessary to provide, secure, and support the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your documents to us. As between you and Receive, you may use the generated output, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. AI output may not be unique, and copyright protection may depend on the facts and jurisdiction.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Receive to submit fraudulent or misleading applications, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malicious content, bypass security or payment controls, or interfere with the service. Do not probe or access other customers' accounts or data without authorization. We may restrict misuse, investigate incidents, and comply with lawful requests.
8. Availability and account closure
We use reasonable care to provide the service, but maintenance, third-party outages, and other interruptions can occur. Keep copies of important original documents and exported work. If you want to close your account or request deletion, contact us. Outstanding payment obligations and any rights relating to completed purchases are handled under applicable law.
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, nonpayment, unlawful activity, or a material breach. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it. We will not remove mandatory consumer remedies through a suspension or change of service.
9. Responsibility and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for a funder's decisions, missed opportunities caused by information you supplied or failed to review, or indirect losses outside our reasonable control. Subject to mandatory law, our aggregate liability arising from an affected grant purchase is limited to the fees you paid for that purchase.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for fraud or intentional misconduct. The limitations must be read subject to those protections.
10. Changes, applicable law, and contact
We may update these Terms and publish the revised date and version. Material changes affecting your agreement will require appropriate notice and, where needed, renewed acceptance. Changes do not retroactively change a completed purchase without a lawful basis or your agreement.
Israeli law governs this agreement unless mandatory law requires otherwise. If you have non-waivable protections or rights to bring a claim in your place of residence, those rights remain intact. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern; this does not restrict a right to contact a regulator, payment provider, or competent court.
For questions, support, cancellation requests, or privacy requests, email tehila@receive.technology. You may request the operator's legal name and business contact address using this email before purchasing.
